Thursday, Day 4 - Warning PHOTO HEAVY

Thursday was an interesting day.  Due to some scheduling issues it was to be our last day with Ani.  :(  Tsveta, our guide, had to get some paperwork ready so she suggested we hang out at the park while she got her stuff done.  It worked really well.  Rosalina, the social worker, and Tsveta hung out on some park benches working away and we had a little time to our selves.  First we decided to have a photo shoot.  We all got our turn behind & in front of the camera.  Ani thought that was fun.  She wasn't too keen with some of the crazy antics her Dad tried, but she loosened up as you can see. ;0)

At one point Tsveta had to get on the wifi, so we moved closer to the hotel.  There's a little area with a playground and some little games.  She tried the go carts.  Look out NASCAR!!!!

She enjoyed it enough that she rode them twice.  But she made sure we were watching her ALL THE TIME.

It's hard to be cool & have fun at the same time.  Luckily, her friends were all at school this day.  She didn't have to look over her shoulder to make sure no one was watching - which she did most of the week.  It's hard learning to be a kid, when you've had to act like an adult most of your life. :(
She drug Dad around, even getting him on a kiddie worm roller coaster.  I'm going to try to post video of that if I can - LOL.  Then they played a mean game of air hockey - again, she's pretty competitive.  And if you know Andy, you know he doesn't let people win, even his kids.  But I had to remind him that we needed to work on our self esteem.  I think it's going to be fun around our house. hehehehe
Gotta find a way to get this cherry juice. ;0)

Ani teaching Tsveta something on the phone.
I just love the faces Tsveta makes when she's concentrating.
Here's our goodbye pic.  She was so brave & gave us nothing but smiles.  I wasn't as strong. ;0)
Here's Tsveta & Plamena - can't thank them enough.  Such a great week.  Really hoping we get to see them on our return trip.  I am guessing we will see Plamena because I think she's the one who has to go with us to the Embassy.  They do such a great job.  As Angi says, this isn't our first rodeo.  We've had the privilege of working with some really impressive agencies to bring our kiddos home.  And Vesta has been no different.  They really enjoy their jobs.  As you'll see in the next post, we even got to enjoy some extra time.  I liked getting to know Tsveta.  She's quite an amazing person.  If you go to Bulgaria on an adoption trip, take the time to get to know your agency's workers.  They have so much to offer & you can learn so much from them.
