Rosalina Plans A Fun Day

We set out on Wednesday ready to enjoy some fun.  Rosalina had something planned for us, but it was to be a surprise. ;0)
She got to ride a pony.  She was so nervous at first.  We went inside the stables to watch some training going on.  Her eyes got so big when she saw the horses.  I didn't think we would get her on the pony.  But she put on her brave face & was willing to try it.

When the verdict came in - SHE HAD FUN!!!!  She even tried shooting the paint ball gun at the target.  She wasn't too bad for her first attempts.
After the outside fun, we took a tour of the stables.  OH MY WORD.  She wouldn't even go close enough for them to breathe on her.  She was so scared by their huge size.  She wouldn't touch even one of the other ponies because she would have to pass one of the big horses.  I guess we don't have to worry about her asking Dad for a horse. lol
 More "Old Dobrich" areas

This is Rosalina.  I can't tell you how much this woman has done for us and our daughter.  At first I could tell she was skeptical, especially when it came to the homeschooling discussions.  But she was honest enough to tell us it's illegal in Bulgaria and she then proceeded to ask lots of questions.  I admire her so much now.  We explained our system and our plans for our daughter and she seemed relieved.  I don't think our week would have gone as smoothly as it did, if she had not been with us.

Shopping in the mall - we bought a jacket.
Every time we ate out, she orders Cherry juice, even for her snacks.  (We've only found one distributor of it in the states - hope it tastes the same.)

I love this picture, but it also reminds me of the meltdown she had.  Our day didn't end the way any of us would have liked.  But, I am thankful for people like Tsveta & Rosalina who helped work their magic. We were able to run over to the center really quick just to check on her, tell her goodnight, & to make sure she was alright.  (I'm not going into details of what happened, but I do know my daughter is ready to go with us - she's starting to realize that the week is quickly coming to an end.)
So thankful for smiles.
